LFG was a nightmare, we literally had to cheese it as people on LFG could not survive

When I finished rhulk I got the high score triumph but I didn’t finish within the time period does that mean it’s possible to still get the high score even without the bonus?

The difficulty spike from last week to this week combining the fact solar made last week even free-er than it already was is absurd. Got it done after 6 hours no shot i'm doing week 4 lol

Bro doing checkpoint doesn’t give bonus does it? If you do the full run you get bonus points at the end is that true.

I'm kinda underwhelmed by the choices for Warlock exotic perks. I feel like they left out a lot of options that would have been more impactful for Warlocks and allowed for a lot more creativity in builds. Just off the top of my head, it would have been more exciting to see adaptations of the exotic perks for Nezarec's Sin, Crown of Tempests, Transversive Steps, Fallen Sunstar, Skull of Dire Ahamkara, and/or Stormdancer's Brace. But it is what it is, I suppose. Hopefully the Prismatic ability customization in its final form will be more exciting to craft with.

I'm personally predicting the Spirit of Inmost Light will be the generic workhorse for any pve prismatic builds. From there, it's all about refining into a specific type of gameplay (Ex: Hunter's Spirit of Renewal/Cyrtarachne would provide phenomenal dmg reduction while Spirit of Galanor/Star-Eater would make a good swap piece to grab four orbs, super, then swap out)

Really they should just have a base power mode (no -5, or anything) for each new week, AND a -5, -10 and -20 for each week with scaling rewards for each tier. That would put it more closely to having something for everyone. (This is coming from someone that has completed every raid since D1. Still think they should have made a tier accessible newer players)

The only way I see pantheon or anything of this caliber which increases in difficulty getting more ppl is if there’s an incentive for sherpas or carry groups and not participation trophies. An outright unattainable emblem or armor set that only they get and doesn’t see its way into eververse….EVER!!! Anybody that sees it will definitely cry about it but in the back of their head will be “damn I should’ve learned the mechanics”

Pantheon does offer anything that I want or need to play the game. 95% of everything that came with Lightfall and after if a complete disappointment and waste.

This mode should have 100% been a punt to new players and those that don't usually raid. The current difficulty should be legend with the same rewards. But a regular with reduced rewards and not completing the quest should have been here. The people this is made for already have the stuff. MAYBE missing an exotic if they are just unlucky. This took me 9 hours across 5 different teams. And only 1 being able to finish the final boss which still took almost 2 hours. It's made me understand why the lfg finder is so toxic. I'll explain something to you but lying to me about understanding and wasting hours of my time has made hate a lot of lfg.

I think it's goin good so far. I didn't have the raid exotics cuz of bad luck so it lets me get those. The adepts I don't care for cuz all I need are the crafted weapons, which I already have. Just did a sherpa run yesterday since I knew the first 4 and the people I was teaching seemed to get it pretty fast, though I'm sure I was just lucky. I'm hoping to achieve the title, but as someone who has only gotten back into Raiding recently for Pantheon I don't know if I'll be able to find a team for Riven on week 4, since I've never done it legit.

This is largely a destiny problem that has been going on since the inception of the game. The raids are too long and complicated and require a college class to understand and since most people are not going to memorize the mechanics because they have other things on their minds like a job and family it just makes coming back to this same raid over and over again a redo in learning. The biggest problem within destiny is the looking for group mechanic, it sucks. No one wants to teach the new people and the experience people have every incentive to only play amongst themselves thus creating a small group of people who actually do a raid and contribute to the problem by only having a few people who understand how to run it. There are no rewards for teaching new lights or even people who have played the game for years but are so intimidated by a 4-hour time investment and dealing with elites who don't want to teach them and will boot them out of the party at any given moment for a mistake made. It is led to a smaller and smaller group of people who actually understand how to do the raid or who actually even do them. If you go on to looking for group you will see what I'm talking about and they're being most the time zero players looking for a group or only three or four groups at a time who require you to know what to do and have experience. They check you on raid report and if you make mistakes they will boot you from the group. This is lead to a very small destiny community that continues to get smaller and smaller as the time requirements go up and the knowledge base goes down.

Borderlands did raids perfectly i can solo everything or i can matchmake for everything... We arent restricted and dont have to leave the game to find people to play with... But we r also allowed to just drop our entire inventory for people who need better gear but cant farm since they dont have the right gear... Borderlands is the greatest Looter shooter of all time. If destiny was more like borderlands and less like destiny it would be so much better of a game. Destiny is ok but it takes itself to serious when it really shouldnt. It should just be fun and about loot. Thankfully borderlands exist.

They could use Pantheon data to determine Final Shape raid balancing. Believe they are going to look at the stats.

That Oryx emblem though, oooof! Gutted I’ll never get it, just feels that little bit of our reach with the difficulty we’ve had with week one 😢

I've not completed Pantheon yet; however, I like the activity and the concept; this is coming from one who hasn't raided since Crota D1.

It's essentially for raid end gamers not made for newer players

IMO this is perfect. They brough in onslaught with amazing loot for more casual players. This is something for high level players. Most of them all have the loot so its more for the activity and godslayer title/emblems.

They did an excellent job for a free event. Power 🔋 cap sucks however rewards are great 👍🏾 Raids involves people working together and ne willing to use what's required to complete and do so for platinum! You'd be suprised how many come into activities with BS loadouts & don't want to listen

People have to realize their limitations. This was definitely made for experienced raiders. Also for people who run raids with dog poop RNG for the exotics. This first week it's the easiest week for people who have done raids before because of the level and tiny extras added. By the final week of pantheon it will definitely be for people that run day ones and enjoy it. If bungie says riven legit and they add extra only big epeen raiders will have his emblem. It's for them to wear with pride of course. It will be a rare emblem and a symbol of accomplishments. Good for them. Being realistic I love the emblems but I don't want to drag anyone's run down so more power to them. I don't think it's elitist except if you go out of your way to shame others.
